A space for fitting.

Always choose a place to conduct the fitting where there is enough space to step away and view the garment as a whole. A mirror (preferably a three-way mirror) helps you to get some distance from the garment. This also allows the person being fitted to see the garment without looking down at their body and distorting their stance. Make sure you also have good light, a chair or a stool, a rack or hook to hang clothing, and a place to set your tools that is within reach but out-of-the-way.
